Ash v Evil Dead

So, I'm sitting on my couch watching tonight's episode of Ash v. Evil Dead when some background music in a scene kicks up......"Is It My Body." Sweet!

If you've been watching the show, it's tonight's episode, entitled "The Host." If you've not been watching it and you're an Evil Dead/Bruce Campbell fan, you are missing out!

I was able to meet Bruce Campbell last year, and mentioned I'd had a conversation with Alice about the Evil Dead movies. Bruce said he was aware that Alice was a fan, and in my opinion, the feeling seemed mutual. (If you get the chance to meet Bruce, do. He's awesome with fans!)

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Tonight was the Season 1 finale. (Season 2 is a go. Can't wait!) Out of 10 episodes, 3 had Coop tunes.

Just finished Ash vs Evil Dead S2E2. We see Ash's childhood bedroom for the first time, and I was scanning the walls every time they were in there. They did not disappoint. There is an Alice Cooper poster on the wall. :alice:

Apparently the majority of the music from the first season (at least) was based around groups from the Detroit area (Alice, Ted Nugent, The Stooges etc) because that is where Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Rob Tapert grew up

Sam has also stated that the music selected for the series was based on the lack of growth that the Ash character has enjoyed over the past 30–35 years, and that, "the music should reflect the last time he was engaged in society, and living"

Tonight's soundtrack inclusion is "Go To Hell."

Bruce Campbell + Alice music+ schlocky horror tv....man, I love this show.
