You only went because you thought Alice was going to be there so you're kind of daft for not doubling checking.
Actually, I had been contemplating going long before that, the possibility of Alice showing up just spurred me to go. It was a good time seeing Neal, Michael and Dennis perform together which I'd not seen. I also met Ace Frehley and even went to the car dealership and met Alice. Total blast.
But leave it to you to take some perverse amount of joy in the fact that that reunion you so pine for didn't happen. Further evidence of your dysfunction and misery.

Odd you know that i can't have a good time. I did at Those Darlins, The Sonics, X, The Blasters, The Mission Creeps, The Beat Farmers and Panther Burns. All within the last 18 months or so. I dare say i would of at Chiller too. You are double daft.
That's quite a lineup of mediocrity.

As for Kevin's quintet I don't see Mike Alice Dennis and Neal as not being Alice Cooper because Glen is no longer with us. There is a possibilty we might see them record or play again, sorry Kevin I know it must hurt you, fingers crossed. Mr Barlow seems to think there is a very good chance and he might be in the know. Alice Cooper live not daft at all.
The point that's lost on you is that it can never be the same... and it never will. And it's quite possible that any hopes of a legitimate reunion died with Glen.
Yet, anything is possible. However, there's far too much being read into a one time performance at a book signing event. I'm sure Alice was happy to do his friend Dennis a favor and he appeared at one book event when the stars aligned and it was convenient for him. There's absolutely nothing indicating anything more is on the horizon. Just wishful thinking on yours and few others' parts.
Now back to your regularly scheduled misery and complaining.
