Similar to "Only Women Bleed"

I appreciate there are only so many chord changes but the tempo, chords and melody on the verse of this song are
very similar to OWB. I just heard it driving home and when I heard the intro I expected a cover!

Yes, that's similar to OWB as well (and came first), but this new one sounds like a complete steal.
As Robbie said, it sounds more like a cover until the end of the verse.

Holy crap!! Right on both counts but more so the first tune - that's like the Kiss "Dreamin'" close. I have to say credit or no - I like when younger artists borrow from our old music.

Also reminds me of how Queensryche's "Silent Lucidity" shares some very similar to characteristics to OWB as well.

Perhaps it also sounds similar because this song is in the key of G like OWB. The chord progression G A C on the verse is made even more similar because of the descending sound of some of the chord inversions too!As Si said definitely too close for comfort!!

Incorrect again. If was unlikely but possible, so I checked, the credits are Ben Glover/Gretchen Peters.

The poster asked (1) if it was possible they had a credit and (2) if anyone had checked.
Hence your answer of "yes and no" read as "yes it's possible" and "no, no one has checked". The latter being incorrect as *I* had checked
