'I Got A Line On You is pretty good'. Kinda an update on the old AC version.
'Dear Drunk Friends' is really good! A heavy jazzy/blues thing.

Same as the spotify ones, I got a line on you, SO and dead drunk friends. Also has the track times. The last vampire clocks in at 1.35 so guessing it's more of an intro than an actual song. I like dead drunk friends on first listen kind of has that Last man on earth/Tom Waits vibe going on.

Yeah could be a region thing I suppose. I would check again in the morning. I doubt they are withholding the tracks just in the US but who knows.

No idea what time the tracks went up here, but could it be they went up after the radio broadcast? Maybe the US has to wait until NWAC is aired in the US. Unlikely everything is that coordinated but just a thought.

It's possible, but just when you think things are getting better in this regard with a universal release day finally upon us, leave it to one of the majors to find a way to screw things up so some people can hear a song and some can't.

I don't know when it when up in the UK but if they time out these things it may hit the U.S. Spotify and iTunes at Midnight.

They're now up on US iTunes, along with a pre-order for the album. Spotify is still currently a no-go.

Not sure if Apple Music has the same catalogue availability worldwide but if so, all members can now stream the 3 songs through it.

Past Midnight and Spotify now has the play button for the tracks but they wont play. Giving up for now.

First impressions:

Schools Out/Brick in the wall gets a 6/10 from me. Nicely produced record which like the live show intertwines the two tracks brilliantly. Never going to be a hair raising experience for obvious reasons. Still undecided on Johnson's role in the song and it does now concern me how much of a role some of these guests will get on the tracks.

I Got A Line On You is a more creative version of the one done in the 80's and get's a solid 7/10. Has much more of a 70's vibe to it and is much more upbeat.

My Dead Drunk Friends was the one out of these three tracks that really impressed me. Jazzy but dark at the same time a very fitting song and great track to see out the album. At first listen it lies between an 8 and a 9/10 and I think will be a hard track standard wise to eclipse. Someone mentioned it sounds like a W2MN kind of track. I would agree but there is an element of Last Temptation thrown in as well.

Just listening now......Dead Drunk Friends is the standout for sure.

Pleasantly surprised on first listen. Thought the segue into the last chorus from another brick was a bit clunky but maybe because I'm only listening on my phone's speaker.

Sir Christopher Lee provides narration on the Last Vampire??? AWESOME! A nice nod to having Vincent Price involved and of course what better person to do something with vampires than the late great Count Dracula himself Sir Christopher Lee!
