Hollywood Vampires - September 11

Post by Dannorama » Sat Aug 01, 2015 12:07 pm

Thanks, Si, for the picture of the cover. Love it! The art is very attractive! Let's talk about our hopes...

I hope that Joe Walsh is involved.
I hope that the song selection is fresh and exciting.
I hope that this is all-around great.

I'm just wondering how many version of the album there'll be.

I'm going for 6.

Yeah I put that note on the news page as I can`t think they won`t release multiple versions, but I have no information on that yet. I figured it better to mention it in case non-completists ordered the standard version and then discovered there was a better option they wanted instead.

I agree, while not that original (the idea) I think the cover looks excellent.
Taking bets on a book style special edition sleeve.

I really enjoyed reading the intro text by Bernie Taupin on the website. If we're talking about hopes, mine would be that he was involved in the original tracks that Alice had mentioned.

That's great! About freakin' time! I hope it's very successful (along with the tour) & they whip out an HV 2 to ride the wave while Coop readies his next solo Lp!

Is there a tour or just a few dates? How many tracks do we know for sure is it just the two: Come and Get It ( odd choice as not one of his better songs ) and Dead Drunk Friends?

Special editions! I am all in! Any word on who the cover artist is?

Probably have to wait until it's out to know that.
