Alice $ double bang for your buck?

Post by Lazarus » Mon Dec 22, 2014 2:11 am

Can anyone confirm that the Errol Flynn sword owned by Alice is indeed the very same one that has been used as a BDB dollar skewer every show for the last umpteen years (regardless of whether or not Alice said so)? Because if it is, that hole in the middle of every one of your cherished Alice Buck souvenirs was made by Errol Friggin' Flynn's Sword!!

Not that this conclusion isn't inherently obvious, but then again, sometimes it's the most obvious truth that eludes us...

But even it was true, it doesn't make the item any more valuable than it was before. :teach:

Indeed. The same can be said of a thrift store painting that, unbeknownst to its new owner, once was displayed in a famous person's home. No increase in monetary value, but it nevertheless makes the item more interesting.

I think the crutch used during "I'm Eighteen" was once owned by Evel Knievel.
