Excuse me if this has already been covered as I've been away a few days and I can't see it mentioned anywhere. Anyways I was at sonisphere festival and there was a big billboard poster for a new Alice cd/DVD/lp 'live at wacken' coming soon...

I hope that's true. From the stuff on YT it is a VERY well done production.

I don't know how much Alice content it will have, but this is the listing from Amazon.com. It comes out July 29.

The billboard was just a giant picture of Alice with the words 'raise the dead, live at wacken, coming soon' sounds to me like we might be getting his full set.

Perhaps there's a separate release that hasn't been formally announced yet?

I'm pretty sure the thing I saw advertised is gonna be the full Alice show and not the wacken compilation thing.

I hope there's a full Alice DVD from Wacken. I went to Wacken 2012 (came from Canada!) and it was the best time of my life. I know not everyone here is a metalhead, but there is no better place on earth for metal fans. The Metal Market that sells CDs/Vinyls/Patches/shirts is as enjoyable as the festival.

There is an official Alice Cooper release coming. It was first mentioned a few weeks/months ago and I mentioned it on the news page then but nothing more was heard since until now.

A clip with brief interview segments promoting the theatrical showing of Wacken 3D in Germany. (Bill Crowe posted this on FB.)

Although I'm not sure, I think that refers to the multi - artist footage.
