There is only one song in the history of recorded music that ranks as the all-time worst song to ever be written and recorded by a human being. That song is:

I've always guessed that this song was strictly a Kane Roberts song--musically and lyrically since he had a obsession with gorillas at the time (maybe still does). I figured it was used as filler. I'm guessing Alice may have added or changed some of the lyrics thus the songwriting credit. The line "where were you when monkey turned to man" is the only bright spot in the song.

Kind of a tossup between "Only My Heart Talking" or "Disgraceland".
Personally, I rather like "Ubangi Stomp", "No More Love at Your Convienience" and "Thrill My Gorilla" , even with that awful drum machine wacking away.
As Samuel L. Jackson said in PULP FICTION, "All shapes and sizes, Vincent...all shapes and sizes."

Group-wise, there's only one song that I think is really rubbish: 'Woman Machine' - musically dull, plus lyrics that deserve a good box round the ears with a copy of Helen Reddy's 'I Am Woman'.

As for solo Alice, then any lengthy career is bound to have a few stinkers. Here are my 'best worst song awards':-

Chas And Dave Knees Up Award: 'Damned If I Do'
Motley Crue Sexist Crap Award: 'Trash', 'I'm Your Gun', 'Dirty Dreams', 'Trick Bag'
Mariah Carey Histrionics Award: 'Only My Heart Talkin'
Vocals Anonymous Award: 'No More Love At Your Convenience'
Spinal Tap Widdly Widdly Guitar Award: 'Prince Of Darkness'
William Shatner Covers Award: 'Because'
What The ****? Award: 'Thrill My Gorilla'

Some worthy contenders mentioned but I don't think anything can surpass the dreadful Ghouls Gone Wild. It's the kind of "hard rock" song that one could expect to hear on a terrible "tween" show on Disney. That song alone ensures I never listen to W2MN. And sorry it doesn't work as parody either. Poor inexcusable shit.

To me from the first spin on it always sounded like a Bucks Fizz song..

I remember listening to Constrictor with my mouth wide open - in shock.. DADA was just so damn clever, artistic and mature.. Pretty much everything on Constrictor made me cringe a bit.. A true songwriting decline - monumental...

However, I can still listen to "Thrill my Gorilla" over "Ghouls Gone Wild" or "Disco Bloodbath" off W2MN.. The parody aspect of those songs is just too far into Novelty music for my tastes.. Maybe not badly written songs - just not something I look for in music... Personal taste thing.

I had a bad feeling about Constrictor when I saw some early promo pics of Alice holding a Jason mask. I was sad to see his image go full-blast in this direction.

DADA truly was amazing and it's hard to believe the same artist did Constrictor.

Agreed on W2MN as well, a lost opportunity to do something really cool and a Constrictor-esque cover to boot.

I always thought ghouls gone wild sounded like a scooby doo song!

Although the whole of RYFAY would be there, along with thrill my gorilla and I'm hungry I'm going to chose DYSLEXIA. I don't think it's the worst song ever but it is the only mediocre song on a classic album!
