The Collector's Choice reissues : worth getting ?

Post by Steven Lee Cooper » Tue Jul 01, 2014 9:46 pm

Hi there.

I'd like to know a bit about those reissues of SF/ZCS/DADA albums.

Do they offer anything special ? Do they have great liner notes, rarely seen photos and such ?

In short, are they worth getting for someone who already has them in their original US Warner Bros LP pressings ?

Thanks for your advice.

Hi they have liner notes nothing special there. no extra pictures.

SF has the song "Look At You Over There Ripping The Sawdust From My Teddy Bear" which is on the boxset. The sound quality on SF is worse than the Import version as it lacks punch.

ZCS has the song For Britain Only also on the boxset. Sound quality is about the same as the import maybe a little better.

DaDa nothing extra and the sound quality is pretty much like the import.

So really nothing missed by not getting these especially if you have the boxset

Thanks for the info...would be cool if SF had some live material, though...
