The tour marks the debut of Alice’s new guitarist Nita Strauss, who was recently ranked #1 on Guitar World’s list of “10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know.” She takes the place of Orianthi, who has toured with Cooper for the past few years. Nita, who has made her name in bands including the Iron Maidens, Femme Fatale, and LA Kiss, joins Alice’s band’s three guitar attack, which also features guitarists Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen, plus longtime bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel.

and like Orianthi she's worked with a Jackson so obviously not just a shredder.

Quite eclectic to play for Jermaine Jackson and a female Iron Maiden tribute band, will work well visually too.

just listened/watched her doing the national anthem...there isn't room for one more goosebump on my body! I was concerned by her pretty thin resume,but go check some of her work out those of you on the fence.hopefully her best is yet to come.

Didn't know her, but I went to see her on Youtube, and she's very talented. With her guitar skills, her exuberant stage presence, she will be perfect in Alice's band. I don't know if she sings or only play guitar. Orianthi is a great guitar player, but also have a beautiful voice. She must go in that direction and develop all of her talent, and reach the top with her singing and guitar playing. Performing with big stars is the chance of a lifetime, a honor and the best way to start a significant career. So, Nita, great guitarist, she has the look,the attitude, the experience,eye candy for the male fans, what can go wrong? Maybe some of you would have preferred someone else, Ori staying or the return of Keri Kelli, we don't have the choice, it's their decision, depending on several factors, availability of the guitarists, etc... Not our choice, their decision for the best interest of the band and fans.

Orianthi was a huge asset to the band - musically, visually and personality-wise - and I'm extremely sorry to see her leave; hopefully she'll be heavily featured on the covers album, amidst all the 'guests'. I'm really glad Alice has chosen Nita, since this reinforces his credentials as a female-friendly musician - something that's always been in short supply amongst big, mainstream male rockers.

I think it's great, they keep a female member in the band. The female element has become an important aspect of the show and I think Nita is a great choice.

I agree and hope Orianthi will return one day. Makes sense, she is not interested in a long and grinding tour, playing the same show and songs over and over again as support act and want to concentrate on her own music instead. Although, I don't like her current involvement with Sambora, quite a step down. Could do some damage to her reputation and career, if things go wrong.
