Coop's heaviest song?
What song do you think is Coop's heaviest song? A song that would fit in the "heavy metal" category and his loudest. It could be a live version of a song or a studio track.

Step on You or almost anything from Brutal Planet
Re: Coop's heaviest song?
Deeper. Absolutely horrible plodding number from a piss poor follow up to his last really solid album.

Roses on White Lace. Spirits Rebellious a contender, too. He should have called the Eyes album Spirits Rebellious (as it was considered). Great title & tune.

If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...
Re: Coop's heaviest song?
Dragontown was a floored album but i love the opening salvo (triggerman, deeper, dragontown, sex death and money)
Yeah i would say step on you or maybe cold machines...
Raise your fist and brutal planet definately the heaviest albums i would say (and two of his best )

Although nowhere near as good as Brutal Planet I still thought there was some great tracks on Dragontown. As mentioned 'Deeper' is one Alice track that I have no love for.

Guess I will be the lone voice who can show some love for Deeper...I love the creepy imagery of a broken down elevator heading into the inferno that is Dragontown...actually thought if Dragontown ever had a video, it would start with an elevator crashing in the middle of "Dragontown" as Alice walks out of it singing the lyrics.

I've always liked Deeper, but I wouldn't categorize it as one of Alice's "Heaviest Songs".AlongCameASpider27 wrote:Guess I will be the lone voice who can show some love for Deeper...I love the creepy imagery of a broken down elevator heading into the inferno that is Dragontown...actually thought if Dragontown ever had a video, it would start with an elevator crashing in the middle of "Dragontown" as Alice walks out of it singing the lyrics.
When I think of heavy Alice songs, "Freedom" always comes to mind.

Deeper is a fine song, Shoey just don't like it for some reason.
Anything I say or write is my own personal opinion, no matter who agrees or disagrees with me.

Nothing wrong with Deeper, one of the better tracks on Dragontown along with Somewhere In The Jungle.
The worst track on that album is the embarassingly poor Disgraceland.

Oh I just wanted to show my love for Deeper but back to the original point, yes I feel that Freedom or Roses on White Lace fit the build for heavy song. Cold Machines on BP is very heavy along with the title track...

I liked it better the first time when it was called "Beautiful People".AlongCameASpider27 wrote:Cold Machines on BP is very heavy
