>NOW...why is this any concern of yours?

Because if it is true, it's strange that you have attacked Alice's management in the past and if it isn't true, there must be some other reason.

> NO we did not receive any balcony tickets from ALICE'S MANAGEMENT.

I didn't ask you that. I asked you if you had tickets to watch the show from the balcony.

> Like DD, MB, and NS, the rooms were free for two nights. We paid for a third night,

I don't doubt that and I didn't say you did not. I asked if you received a discounted rate as a result of their efforts.

>and if I remember what the room rate was, I'll die a happy man.

I am not asking you to tell me what the discounted rate was - just if you received it.

No, Andy asked if he was given two additional tickets for the balcony.

He did not ask if he was given them from Alice's Management.

What happened to this being about the love  of ACG + AC as far as the MUSIC is concerned???
As for me I can't wait until the movie/DVD is released - too bad that I don't see a showing in the Balt/Wash DC area. Will the Q & A be included as an extra to the DVD or is that an exclusive to the theatrical showings? In the mid-70's Welcome To My Nightmare was only playing at a theatre 20 miles away & I didn't have my license (yet) so we had to make a special trip, to me it was worth it!

WTMN was playing in a theater? I bet I am the only person on this site that saw WHCFYD or Medicine Ball Caravan at a theater.

Believe it or not I still have the newspaper clippings for the showings! :8):

jesus wept. even filtering the troll ruins this site cos threads turn into huge lists of people bitching back and forth pointlessly in the must-have-last-word garbage of the average 6-year-old.

i used to love coming here and catching up/joining in ~ now each visit brings me a step closer to leaving for good. the ratio of entertainment to boredom/annoyance/disgust is sliding ever more in the wrong direction and the site runners seem to scared to hand out temporary cooling-off bans as warnings.

You're misinformed about what goes on behind the scenes here.

There have been MANY folks asked to leave this forum over the years, each one of those bans was for a clear and concise concern. But most times, as Devon just did above, warning posts are issued, and threads such as these get monitored closely.

But banning people, temporary or otherwise, is not something the administration does on a whim. All of this is done with diplomacy and careful consideration. Unless there is a blatant personal attack or clear violation of a board rule, folks usually settle their own issues, the heat dies down and we move forward.

Challenges are unavoidable on public forums, we all get that. If your opinion is challenged, defend it, of course, but stick to facts, use common sense and remember the board rules. Or choose NOT TO respond to the challenge and defuse the situation before it even begins.
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...
