That looks potentially fantastic. Any ideas of a UK release?

I would expect it will got straight to DVD in the UK. Maybe a few specialist cinema showings over here abut I can`t see there would be enough of an audience for a general release.
How much of a theatrical showing it will get in the US first is the question as well.
I wouldn`t expect we'll see it for another six months AT LEAST.

I agree it looks very good. Much of the footage seems much sharper then anything previously available.

I was hoping it may do some of the festivals, especially the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June obviously, due to my location.

The mention of Cocaine could be interesting as it never seems to have been confirmed ( unless I have missed something ? )

Is it worth asking that people don't start speculating too much about a documentary that hasn't even been released? Having worked on this for two years or so, I can try and answer any questions that I'm able to but obviously, a trailer is exactly that and speculating any further is pointless (albeit understandable).

Could I ask if you know of any plans to do the film festival circuit?

I love it when you say things like that.

Thanks for the info, here's hoping it shows up in the UK circuit, ideally Edinburgh.

Looks like someone dug up some clear as day footage of All Strapped Up, now that is impressive. One of the huge things I'm anticipating for this documentary is the footage because it all looks fantastic. Well done to those who put this together

This looks amazing. Can't wait to get the Blu ray and have a wee premier in my house with some friends and a few beers.

This movie indeed looks very good. It looks like it'll explore the fascinating battle that took place within Vince when he became overtaken by a different part of himself as he became famous.

Since he's been sober Alice has been hesitant to probe these topics deeply and usually sticks to Jekyll vs Hyde comments and humor to deflect it. I always saw a much deeper level both personally and universally and I'm hoping this movie brings more of that out. Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung would have had a field day studying this phenomenon and it's no small matter that it attracted the attention of Salvador Dali.

Considering all the discussion about youtube and advertising revenues etc in the last week or so, you know you just "stole" the trailer from the site it was officially released to (thus earning revenue) and posted it on your own YouTube site, relieving Banger films of that revenue (such as it may be) and possibly passing the advertising revenue (what little it may be) to yourself.

Is there some problem with people being able to watch something on Vimeo that I don't know about?

I respect you Si but you really need to get your facts right on this one

1- Vimeo have made the video private as Banger films don't want it seen anymore

2- It's not a monitised video so I wouldn't make any money on it

3- The reason I put it up is I thought it would get removed as Banger have a YouTube site and I think it was leaked early

4- PRS and their affiliates collect money for the writers from YouTube but not Vimeo so YouTube would have to pay royalties.

5- Out of respect for Banger I'm going to delete the video but even though you run this site and could easily ban me I don't appreciate your comments but won't hold it against you
