Ballad of Dwight Frye.....
Unfortunately, this song was like Alice looking into the future when he wrote these lyrics. A brilliant tune that makes you sad, laugh, creeped out and rock, all in one delivery. I think that's what makes Coop so different from all the rest is that he could just mix emotions, serve it up, and throw in your face all in one bag and makes you come back for more and more. A really special song that deserves a thread from time to time. Alright, another reason why I wrote this thread is that I am bored so forgive me.

I love all of the old Universal Monster Movies! This song lives on in their honor. The Ballad Of Dwight Frye will always represent B & W to me! Cheers!evil syd wrote:A really special song that deserves a thread from time to time.

Absolutely. With this song and the LITD album, the ACG moved into a new era. The song and album laid the foundations for the 'classic era' sound and musical direction the Group would take.wind_up_toy wrote:The quintessential Alice Cooper song.

I would love to have that one on DVD. In fact, I would like some kind of live recording of that song from that period.
