Well Steven is my all time favorite Alice Cooper song.
And Roses on White Lace, Cleansed By Fire, It's Hot Tonight, Killer and Fresh Blood are ranked very high on my favorite Cooper songs list.

Some good choices by Noisecreep, but I think A LOT of his songs are underrated and more than the three ("No More Mr. Nice Guy", "School's Out" and "I'm Eighteen") should get more notice.

in my opinion only 10% of alice songs are not underrated...there is not a alice song that i cannot listen to.......i can honestly say on any given day i can put on any album and listen all the way through and enjoy every song.........

The 1st song I thought of when I saw this thread's title is Hard Hearted Alice. Good write-up of the 3 ACG tunes on the list, and in the comments below it at least a couple other worthy ACG songs are mentioned: My Stars and Hallowed Be My Name.

Not sure what the criteria is for under-rated. I take it to mean a combination of:
i) a songs' absence from Best of compilation albums
ii) not played live regularly or for many tours
iii) not played often on Classic Rock radio stations

That is a solid list by Noisecreep, but they missed the boat on "The Last Temptation" album. It is a lot more "hit" than "miss" and is one of Alice's best albums ever. Here is my Top 10:

The Song That Didn't Rhyme (brilliant pretty funny track)
Dangerous Tonight (Alice told me he thought that this is the best vampire song ever so why doesn't he play it?)

Under The Bed - So under-rated it didn't even make the main album!

King Of The Silver Screen - The least well known of I refer to as the 'Big Songs' ie the cinematic epics (Steven, Black Juju, My Stars, Inmates and Halo being the others)

Beautiful Flyaway - Lovely little song that is often forgotten

Second Coming - Just brilliant and overlooked

Most of the SO album as the title track is often the only song mentioned. It's a brilliant album from start to finish

Might As Well Be On Mars - One of Alice's greatest ballads

Sister Sara - Best track on DT that never got it's due

I Just Wanna Be God - Great groove song

I'm So Angry - Should ABSOLUTELY have been a mainstay in the live show.

Zombie Dance - It could have been so much more but what there is is still great!

I Am Made Of You - Impossible NOT to underrate such a awesome track, even if just for Steve's incredible guitar work. One of the best songs of Alice's career.

I'm a bit puzzled by Noisecreep calling three very ordinary hair-metal tracks 'underrated gems'. Still, each to their own. Here are my 'gems':

Nobody Likes Me - hilarious and sad at the same time
You Drive Me Nervous - a stonking rocker that needs playing live more
Public Animal #9 - would've made a good follow-up single to SO; great lyrics
Working Up A Sweat - again, would have made a great single
Escape- glamtastic stomper, another should've-been single

Wake Me Gently - one of AC's very best vocals
The Quiet Room - again a very good vocal and excellent lyrics
Pick up The Bones- lyrically as good as Dylan's 'Masters Of War'
The Saga Of Jesse Jane - hysterical yet touching
Wrapped In Silk - brilliant drums. ACAS is an underrated gem of an album , IMO!

agree with most of these songs
wonder why things like Pick up the Bones or Every Woman Has a Name (a potential single like Only Woman Bleed) haven't been promoted more.
these are meaningfull songs and there are so many opportunities (unfortunately) where these songs would have come to their right..
so i guess they are truly underrated songs !
