The Nightmare Returns is available on iTunes
Trashes The World really has to have a CD release one day, as does the Welcome To My Nightmare film concert footage (I'm Eighteen never sounded better IMO).

I don't think there is a multi - track recording of that, so that would be somewhat unlikely.

Live at Montreux (CD/DVD) is easily my favourite.
Excellent sound & picture quality and great acting between Alice & his daughter Calico.

Agreed, I don't think Alice has sounded any better. It contains my all time favorite version of "I'm Eighteen". I wish that whole show was on CD. Amazing!Pretty Ballerina wrote:Live at Montreux (CD/DVD) is easily my favourite.

The Alice Cooper Show. Got the vinyl framed on the wall and all. Wish it would've been the entire concert with the rarer songs included but I guess we get what we get.

Re: Your favorite LIVE album?
1. St. Louis
2. Rhino's B$B disc II
3. Alice Cooper Show
TACS was released in during an era of the great double live rock album, by comparison TACS comes across as rushed and anemic. Having said that, it has its' moments. The version of 18 is great and the ILTD/GTH/WYWH medley is very cool.
St. Louis is the king for now and will only be surpassed if a complete School's Out show is released in brilliant quality.

Fistful and Montreux for me.
Alice's vocals on Montreux are particularly good. Brutally Live would have been good if the vocal performance wasn't so poor.

Re: Your favorite LIVE album?
I agree that Alice's vocals on Montreux are very good (definitely a top notch vocal performance) but as far as playing or energy level goes it is not my favorite Alice Cooper gig of all time. Dirty Diamonds gig here in Finland was surprisingly quiet by hard rock standards. It wasn't bad but I was a bit disappointed. Band probably had an off-night because the gig captured at Montreux seems to be much better. Unfortunately that Tampere gig was my first Alice Cooper concert.
I never cared that much of Fistful of Alice mainly because song selection lacks any kind of deeper cuts and I don't think it was jaw dropping performance by band in any means. Don't get me wrong Alice sings well and band is energetic but it lacks that wow factor. Besides I don't think Poison, I never cry or Feed My Frankenstein sound good on that album.
I really got to get the box set to hear the St-Louis gig because that must be great. Also have to give a listen to No More Mr. Nice Guy Live I haven't listened to that one in ages. I remember there being some sound quality problems but song selection was very interesting and band was playing great.

Re: Your favorite LIVE album?
Difficult to pick a favourite but I'd probably go for Theatre Of Death as I just loved that show. However, I'll be listening to the St Louis one tonight - 42 years ago today!
