I presume you mean the Christmas Pudding show (the "Proof" series is a battle-of-the-bands style show to find a soloist and a group to take the opening slots).

Anyhow, yes I was there along with forum member NotSoPerfect and some other usual suspects. Second half was when the "rock" part of the show really began. The tribute band "Hairball" (who were also the backing band for the various performers in the absence of Alice's own touring band) wound things up nicely with a selection of rock hits known to the audience such as We're Not Gonna Take It and For Those About To Rock. Joan Jett played a too-short set (with her own lead guitar and keyboard player - bass and drums by Hairball) but got a fantastic reaction, particularly to Crimson & Clover which prompted audience-participation with an enthusiasm that I've not seen at the Pudding before and I've been attending since 2008.

Tom Keifer for me was a bit forgettable though it was a solid performance. Kip Winger who of course has played bass for Alice I thought was great - he did a couple of numbers from his first solo album and one other that escapes me at the moment. It must be said at this point that I do have a soft spot for Kip. ;)

Vince Neil demonstrated fantastic energy and finished his set with Girls, Girls, Girls which again had fantastic audience participation. Alice's set consisted of NMMNG, 18, UMW, Break On Through and finally SO (with the Another Brick In The Wall "mash up" section.

KISS closed the show, they weren't wearing make up and didn't use any pyro.

You cannot compare the Christmas Pudding with an Alice Cooper show as they're two completely different animals but it was an enjoyable evening and everyone left smiling.

I also thought of particular note was the Boys Choir of Phoenix. They did part of "Bohemian Rhapsody", complete with wigs to head bag, a few Coop melodies with re-written Christmas related lyrics, and my two favorites..."School's Out for Christmas," and one little boy who sang a verse of "I'm 13!" They were having a great time and the audience reaction was fantastic!
