School's Out cover production/assembly
A few photos taken during the manufacturing and packaging of School's Out. I particularly like the shot of the die-cut mechanism showing how the desk supports were scored on the back cover. And I think the pic of panties being applied to a record would have been a great publicity snap.

The 3rd picture is great, I hope it wasn't too painful for the poor girl. You know, walking around without her pants on and all.

Nice. I think I have the album with the panties. Sadly, they didn't fit me.
I'm swimming in blood.

I wouldn't say "great" but rather "sick!"

School's Out was the first AC album I ever purchased, back in those glorious summer days of 1972. I bought it at my local Boots the Chemist branch - in the days when virtually every shop seemed to sell records.
What I didn't realize though was that there would be something a bit, er, extra included. So my young schoolboy self was mortified when the shop assistant proceeded to hold the vinyl up and announce to the rest of the queue that 'these bloody pants' had been causing them endless problems all week - I dreaded to think just what!
My mortification didn't last long though as I virtually ran home, put the stylus onto the grooves and out poured a thing of pure wonderment, instantly turning me into a bona fide Alice Cooper fan for life.
I can't really remember what happened to the pants - I think they just disintegrated over time. Happy days.
