You misunderstand. You wrote: "How great would it be if it inspired someone at Nightmare Inc. to get involved". However, as I think has been already pointed out, the DVD was put together by Shout Factory - Nightmare Inc., had nothing to do with it.

"Was any other ahow recorded professionally.?"
Yes, but I don't think it is complete.

My understanding is at that time most bands/labels/whoever would hier a crew to film a show or 2 it wasnt standard practice to take a film crew to every show on tour. You wouldnt happend to know how many shows were filmed for this tour would you?A_MichaelUK wrote:From Keith1980:

The other way is that someone would come along and make an offer to document it and release it.

Two different shows in 1997 (one from Hungary and one from Spain) and a portion of the show from Bulgaria in 2000 were broadcast on television.

As far as L&W goes, the only pro shot video we have is AC & Friends. You can always get some audio, though: Saginaw being the first one popping into my head.Keith1980 wrote:BP was released

I was just curious if their are know recordings of full shows. Mainly video. AC & friends was just a partial. I would assume the full show was filmed and then poorly edited and marketed.philouze wrote:As far as L&W goes, the only pro shot video we have is AC & Friends. Im really surpised a live box set hasnt made its way out yet. I dont think anything live was on life and crimes box. Seems like most live stuff we get is a b-side. Im speaking of course before 2000. A bunch of live albums have come out in the past 15 years. Its like coppyright holders just want to burry him. Really wish he or the band its self had the rights to their music.

That performance on AC & Friends needs to be buried, either that or used as a PSA as a warning about the consequences of alcohol abuse.
Although releases of full shows from the 1969-1982 era have been uneven in their availability and distribution, most album/tours are represented in one way or another, especially post '74.
