Anyone who has spent any time with me will know I swear like a trooper, so it certainly is NOT that I am offended by language.
I've said it before but will reiterate.
Alice doesn`t swear on stage or in interviews.
The original sickthings mailing list didn't allow bad language either partially for that reason and it's a tradition I have sought to continue here.

Once you allow things to slip, more and more people will start doing it and it just becomes unpleasent, especially when we are relating to each other in plain text without body language and expressions etc which is a large part of how we comunicate in the real world. It becomes easier to misconstrue what is being said and take offence.
In the end I just think it helps keep a more pleasent atmosphere on the board.

There are plenty of examples of people being very rude to each other here without swearing. Whether you are called ignorant or a stupid mf, doesn't make any difference to me.

Whether Alice swears or not doesn't mean Jack s*** ( ) to me either.

I still feel swear words can help express certain feelings, so I think (and I know it's all up to Si), that the rule should be not to be personally rude to other Sicktings, no matter which Words are used.

Anyway, it was not swearing, but sex that moved this thread off topic.

I just don't get it.

I Actually don't beleive that sexual censorship is about protecting kids, but rather to protect the parents so they don't have to explain to their children why adults are doing these "strange tings".
After all, sex is far more natural than violence.

No. Any adult content would always be minimal anyway so it's really a very minor thing just to be aware of.

The site I linked to has lots of AC pics apart from the "adult" ones, from their/his visits to Copenhagen in 71, 72, 74 and 75.
interesting stuff, I just wanted to share them.
Interested fans can Google "Jorgen Angel Alice Cooper" and find them.

Didn't Alice use Naked woman in imagery in the 70's As far as art was concerned...? Although very small he did use it.
I think all this is subjective and used to gain publicity. I see no harm. I like that this site has been regulated. Unlike Blabbermouth.net which has changed formats due to the trolling. Great Job to Si.
