Diane, really there is no need to be rude. I was just trying to answer your question (a reasonable one for a change) as best I could and providing text to show where your information came from.

I DO have a life and have been in fact doing AC related stuff most of the evening. I hadn`t seen your first reply to my last post, and now I see you are simply being rude to anyone who replies to you. Expecting a reply instantly is pretty silly. I don`t sit on these forums 24 hours a day incase you ask a question.
Now all you've managed to do is piss off others on the board. Well done.

I'm not sure how my opinion actually matters, but for what it's worth I don't know where Alice came up with the name. Probably just thought it fit, or maybe as you suggest it could have come from his memories of Steven, it really IS a question only Alice could answer.

When watching the "Welcome To My Nightmare" DVD from 1975 with Alice's commentary, he talks about how he could've used any name, but "Steven" was just the perfect little boy name.

When I first heard it, I thought he was talking about me! Was a weird little kid at 13 and could really relate to what "Steven" was going through...in more ways than one.

I wish Steven would be played in it's entirety since the ole "WTMN" years. Maybe it was a little later than that. Anyway, I was listening to the song today. It is the perfect song about insanity....

Boards are always mixed breeds. Unfortunately, it can't be helped. But, for the most part, this place has some of the coolest people I have ever read on the internet.

I was thinking Steven might have been a homage to Steve Hunter...it was just an idea that popped in my head. BTW Si, I've been on these forums off and on for the past several years and you and your moderators do an amazing job This is why I love these forums so much because rude trollers are not tolerated and are dealt with rather swiftly...you guys rock!
