It's a great track and I would like to see it performed live. I'm not a huge fan of Muscle Of Love but there are some gems on that album. My Stars from School's Out would be awesome too.

Would love to see it or almost any MOL track other than the title one performed-great guitar work and love Neal's opening drum work in the intro, especially the bass drum that hits you in the solar plexus!

Agree, it's my favourite track on MOL, together with Never been Sold before, Alice in great shape there !
( and personally I find that MOL was/is not a bad album at all.)

Alice has stated before that there are certain songs (three is it?) on Muscle of Love that he really doesn't like, any ideas what they are?

don't think it would work live, for me.
could die happy if he did Crazy Little Child live though.

What movie is it inspired by? I see it's connection with the Hippopotamus club, but this is the first time I've heard about a movie connection too.

I doubt it is one of the ones off MOL that Cooper doesn't like...but it may be. I LOVE the first three cuts on MOL.

I REALLY like the chorus and think it could work live.

Are you thinking of "Man with the Golden Gun"? which they did write for the next James Bond film, but the producers went with Lulu instead :smack: :smack: :bam: .
Interesting how Alice seems less than thrilled overall with MOL, but big portions were presented in THE LIFE AND CRIMES OF ALICE COOPER and OLD SCHOOL 1964-74, including some interesting demos-a good thing as far as I'm concerned

While Muscle of Love is one of my least favorite Alice albums, that's a great song. I definitely wouldn't mind hearing that one live.

I agree, given that it has been performed on (off the top of my head) at least four tours and rather recently, as well.

"Are you thinking of "Man with the Golden Gun"?"

No,The Out of Towners, although, inspired might a little strong, perhaps just say it is an homage to that movie.

this is about "big apple dreaming" being performed rather recently? pitty it didn't make it then to one of the recent dvd's.
have you more details Andy on how it fitted in the whole of a show?

Alice has not played 'Big Apple Dreaming' live since 1974. Not sure what Andy is refering to.
