Its taped from the Golden God Awards Pre-Show...Alice is definitely the more interesting one here from the reporter's perspective. She ask about the new album...Alice said its the covers album, he had just finished some vocals on it on that day...check it out!

I can't believe he's going through with the cover album.

This is the SAME footage posted yesterday by ElectedPlus - I really hoped people by now would catch up on old posts before posting anything.

If he really take serious the "Manson Cover " Idea, I Think Tourniquet will Suit Him, But ANother would be weird.... Hope As A Bonus comes a new song, Others do it with covers album and recopilations

A cover album isn't an automatic purchase for me. My favorite covers from Alice are forgotten gems like Talk Talk and Pretty Ballerina and to a lesser extent Seven and Seven Is. If he covers some cool obscure songs I'll be interested. If it's a lot of popular classic rock songs already played on the radio a lot I'll probably pass, but we'll see. Glad to hear Bob Ezrin is producing.

although I don't like the most coveralbums I'm sure I will buy this. I buy every Cooperalbum.

This has potential to be really cool, but I really hope he doesn't stick with obvious songs like My Generation or Brown Sugar. I'd like to see him to Rock covers of pop songs or even some obscure Rock songs.

If he were to cover a Manson song, I could see Mechanical Animals or Coma White suiting his voice quite well.

Alice came across as very cool, more so than Manson, again he shows that he is the master with the the media, personally I think that it's great that he is trying new things, a covers album is certainly new for him, but like the other postings I do hope that there are a few more obscure songs. Cool footage though and the reporter was a bit of a babe.

Indeed she was!  Manson was definitely trying too hard and I felt a twinge of fear when Alice mentioned Orianthi..I could shudder thinking of MM hanging around the Goddess ::((: . Alice still one of the classiest guys in rock...I agree with a lot of you the Covers album would be more interesting if it was predominantly obscure material, as has been his want, but will buy it anyway.
Dadascot-thanks so much for posting and DG, I didn't see this yesterday-only the one where MM had to swear all the time.

WHOA! Sorry Along came A Spider27 for not giving credit where it was due! Quite remiss of me and apologies again to you. I guess Dadascot talking about the "babelicious" reporter affected my judgement. Once again :smack: :smack: and thanks for the link!

Thanks for the link Spider27, not a big covers fan but let’s see what transpires eh, there may be a few gems coming our way. MM, I think he’s in serious trouble.

It appears some of you people either have short memories or are just not paying attention. The link in the first post at http://www.alicecooperpics.co.uk/Sickth ... f=2&t=8058 (which was less than two months ago) has some information on this.

I would like to hear him cover something from the Yardbirds, Alice seemed to like these when he was younger.

I'd probably die of shock if he did that.

Good to hear from Alice that Cold Machines is indeed Manson inspired. I've no love for MM or his music but that track always sounded so similar to one of his.

The riff is pretty similar to The Beautiful People.
