Alice and Paul
At the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Awards party on Saturday night:

In a related note, there has been some buzz over on some message boards about a KISS / Alice Cooper summer tour. It seems last year Paul was on Nikki Sixx's radio show and then toured with the Crue and now he's on Alice's show...
Just food for thought.

Re: Alice and Paul
I never really cared about KISS, but I'm happy to see him in such good shape. He looks happy, and that "deformed ear awareness" thing he did some time back was a nice move.

Here's Paul Stanley talking about the charity, AboutFace:

Re: Alice and Paul
I would hate to see Alice touring with Kiss. Unlike, the Zombie match, I am guessing this would clearly be as a warm up, much lik the H&H tour, so a greatly reduced set. I felt the same way about the Maiden tour. Although, at least then I somewhat enjoyed Maiden, I really don't want to see what is passing for Kiss these days.

I agree. Ticket prices would be far more expensive and access to the best seats would be extremely limited and likely require a VIP or fan club membership to the KISS Army.ThePainAddict wrote:I would hate to see Alice touring with Kiss. For the KISS/Motley Crue tour last year, between the two bands so many seats were allotted for VIP packages you couldn't even get close to the stage at the top ticket price in the neighborhood of $160+.
As I've stated many times on here, I'd much rather see Alice doing his own shows in more intimate venues at far more affordable prices. Plus, Alice takes care of his fans by offering great seats through his website for his own shows.
I enjoyed Maiden too, but for what I had to do to get up front in both time and money, it still ultimately came down to luck to get there. And then it was half an Alice show.
No thanks.

Re: Alice and Paul
IF KISS and ALICE COOPER toured together, KISS SHOULD go on first - anything other than that would be just plain wrong!!!
Re Paul/Alice pic - hard to tell which one has had cosmetic surgery and that really is a compliment to Alice after all that booze that Stanley never did!

It may be wrong, but guarantee that is the way it would be. Of course, I felt the same way about H&H, Zombie, and Maiden, but understand that the market forces demand this.

If Alice was to go on first and agreed to it, I would lose ALL respect for him - seriously.

Re: Alice and Paul
Alice could never go first with alllll that show that KISS must put on, Sadly Taht's the way it is, KISS planned from the beggining and Alice helped them giving his advice And now it's that way

Re: Alice and Paul
I think Alice and Kiss did a tour together a couple of years back in New Zealand and Australia with Alice opening. Would expect the same to happen if they went out again.

Re: Alice and Paul
I wouldn't be interested at all in a tour like this.
All sounds like blind speculation anyway.

Well, just shut the door on this one. The Dada God has spoken & dashed our dreaming. It would be a cool tour & maybe as alternate headliners out of respect for each other?

Re: Alice and Paul
No thanks....saw Kiss around "76" at The Hammersmith Odeon....all flash, no substance.
Re: Alice and Paul
Whilst recognising this is all speculation, I wouldnt be too worried if Alice played second fiddle to even Kiss at this stage of his career. He'd be brilliant anyway. To me its a bit like Chuck Berry supporting the Rolling Stones (the Stones having intially borrowed a bit from Chuck). I reckon there are a lot of Kiss fans who like Alice , so would boost ticket sales in US, and if it helps Alice sell more units/gain wider fanbase thats ok by me.
You are an individual, just like everybody else.
