Steel Panther would be fun
john 5 (solo)

They opened for Alice (as Murderdolls) on the Halloween Hootenanny Tour with Rob Zombie in October 2010 (possibly others).

They were, in a word, awful, IMO. They really lost me with the song whose entire lyrics seemed to be nothing but "F---, f---, f---, f---, f---...."

To be honest,nobody.
Its always a hell to wait for Alice because obviously when you compare the band and
The voice and the songs to Alice's its always a matter to laugh or to suicide.

I have often read on other bands forums the emphasis on support acts, and how many that won't even go if the support is a band they hate. Seems in 2013 with ticket prices the demand on support acts are more value, explains why there are so many co headlining tours, or tours with 4+ bands these days.

I have no problem with Alice on his own, but a great support act would be a bonus.

and I am picking the murderdolls song would be this?

Murderdolls are supposed to be a comedy band though, so I don't think the lyrics are meant to be good.

I really enjoyed seeing Ugly Kid Joe warm up for Alice. I'd love to see that again.

I know Alice is a fan of Wednesday 13 (also the vocalist of Murderdolls) And yes they are a joke band, at the end of the day Joey Jordison (guitarist of murderdolls) goes back into his famed band Slipknot.

I knew it was supposed to be funny, but I just found it obnoxious to sit through.

But then, that's true of most of the opening acts I've seen....

Agreed. Ugly Kid Joe were very good, much better than the usual support. I went to see them a few weeks ago, and they were GREAT.

Heavy Metal Kids , gotta encore at Wembley as support act 38 years ago. Just have to dig Gary Holton up. What a couple of nights they were.

Coop and ZZTop would be a good amphitheater pairing for a summer tour. They could even alternate headlining.
