Re: Who would you like to see warm up for Alice?
I saw ZZ Top in 1994. They were the most boring band I've ever seen live. Even the dancing silhouette women couldn't liven things up. It's like everything they played was at 3/4 speed.
Maybe that was an off-night or off-tour for them, but I wasn't impressed.

I'd love to see Motorhead tour with Alice.
They could do a co-headlining tour. That would be my ultimate Rock n'roll dream.

They did a UK tour together in 2007. We got crushed at the fron barrier every night. It was a true nightmareDesperado22 wrote:I'd love to see Motorhead tour with Alice.

Also, it's fine to see Motorhead every now and then, but since there isn't much change in their show, it tends to get boring very quickly.

Best opener I've seen for Alice is Dio, Edinburgh playhouse 2001. Nowadays I would love to see Rival Sons and blue coupe opening for him.

it would be great for Blue Coupe to get an Alice tour, guys of that status should be playing major venues again.
Who is going to see them on this tour?
I know it's the same night as Roxie's Lost Angels gig in London, but even though I haven't told my missus and new born baby daughter yet (Alice) gonna have to get a train up to Hertford tomorrow to see Dennis Dunaway again, still nearer than the last time I saw him which was Phoenix 2010. It was snowing in England then too!

Bilston is a great place I popped over there before Alice Wolverhampton gig on the tram to see the trumpet pub synonymous with Slade.
Used to visit Hull a lot when I lived up North used to have a great music scene and of course it's where Mick Ronson is from.
Have a good one in Camden Penny with the other Sickthings.

They both have actually. Murderdolls were the opening band on the Zombie/Cooper tour and Wednesday 13 has opened for Alice several times over the years. I would still love to see it though. Twisted Sister is another good one!Somwhere In Auckland wrote:Wednesday 13 / Murderdolls (im sure one of them already has?)

Uriah Heep, would love to see them again, my head is still rocking three weeks after seeing them, nobody has done that for a long time.

I saw Halestorm last night for the second time. I'd say as a live band they're on par with Alice. I maybe like Halestorm a little more than Alice. I know, BLASPHEMY lol.
But I think they'd go down great with the Cooper crowd. Lzzy is the greatest frontwoman in the history of Rock.

I'd love to see 'Dream on'that's my son's band, so I'd get to spend a lot of time on the tour.

Yes that would also be very cool
Saw him 3 times with Hanoi Rocks opening for Twisted Sister on a Club tour in 2006, and really enjoyed it.

Have you heard his latest album? One of the best out there!
Also loved Teenage Revolution, so much Alice in that song!

I think a blond folk singer with an acoustic guitar would be good-nice contrast and a touch of irony.

No I didn't realise he has one out. He is not very popular here in Germany, so you wouldn't know about new releases unless you're looking for it...wind_up_toy wrote:Have you heard his latest album? One of the best out there!

Re: Who would you like to see warm up for Alice?
They actually tried to do that sort of "contrast" thing in Basel last year . As far as I can tell, it did not work at all. Luckily the show was seated so we spent most of the time before Alice went on stage in the foyer, as did many others. In fact, most of those who were coming to see Alice did not even turn up until half an hour before his performance.recoop wrote:I think a blond folk singer with an acoustic guitar would be good-nice contrast and a touch of irony.
