Brutal Planet Songs Live

Post by Willtobeweird » Sat Oct 27, 2012 2:55 am

Anybody else think the songs form this album played live just sound brilliant? i think because of the heavy bas on the songs they just really hit home live..not to mention the face that they are great songs, but the ones ive heard live form this album always sound so thick and crushing. and the ones on the Brutally live DVD look like they come across great in a live setting aswel

Pick Up The Bones literally gives me chills when I watch Brtally Live. It sounds great and is extremely creepy. I couldn't believe it was one of the songs cut from the cd version.

GREAT album and the songs worked very well in the show and "Pick Up The Bones" gave me chills as well the first time I saw it on BRUTALLY LIVE as this sort of thing really happened. ::((:

I agree the songs always sound great live. Brutal Planet was a masterpiece in my opinion. It is probably in my Top 5 Alice albums ever.

Would like to see Pick up the bones played again.

Love the Extended intro to Brutal Planet on the NMMNG tour, sounds so much heavier.

I'd love to see Gimme live. That looks like it works really well in a live setting. Also, Cold Machines could be insane live. As far as I know, that's never been performed live?
So far, I've seen Wicked Young Man and Brutal Planet live. Both work very well. They really create a lot of energy in the crowd.

Yep, imo Brutal Planet lent itself to live performance better than many of the solo albums..the little things magic live..saw show at Hammersmith Odeon from memory..magic performance...very powerful and it was rare in that I would have been happy if only Brutal Planet tracks had been played live.

Brutal Planet is a fantastic album. IMO Cold Machines is a great track but it would be hard to pull off live. Does have a demanding non stop chorus.

Would love to see Gimme back and Pick Up The Bones is an amazingly creepy song.

He did play Brutal Planet for the first 3 nights of this tour. As far as I know he hasn't played it since the 25th of last month.

He did Brutal Planet and Wicked Young Man throughout the NMMNG Tour and up to the first couple of UK shows in October.

I would LOVE to see Gimme back on the setlist again though (Pick Up The Bones would also be cool but I doubt I'll ever get to see that live)
