If this is correct, I just hope he is there to perform live and show what he does best...if it has to be an old track Id go for Elected...

Me too Recoop!!...It is, after all, mainly a "Live music" show, and Alice should play, not just be "interviewed", as is so often the case with his UK TV appearances!!...

The extended version which aired a couple of days later had an interview, including input from Paul McCartneydadascot wrote:Last time he was on it was only a thirty second chat, lets hope he plays.

This is from the shows page
Jools is joined by Bloc Party, whose recent album Four saw the East London quartet return after a three year break. The legendary Dionne Warwick, currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of her first single release, is in the studio with tunes from her album Now, which sees her revisit some of her classic Bacharach and David collaborations.
Cambridge based four-piece Alt-J make their Later debut with numbers from their acclaimed An Awesome Wave release. Currently celebrating 40 years since School's Out, shock-rock legend, snake-handler and guillotine owner Alice Cooper plays some classic tunes, and Mancunian soul singer Josephine Oniyama performs a couple of songs from her debut album

This is interesting. I reckon he'll do either Caffeine or I'll Bite Your Face Off, both possibly if he gets to do three songs. Quite a high chance he'll do a cover as well since it's the Raise The Dead (Friends) Tour. Being so close to US Election time must also make Elected a very real possibility.
Good show for him to perform on as the bands generally have a great sound and the performances have a high level of energy about them.

I don't get excited by too much Alice tv wise but I have been hoping that Alice would play on Jools' show for mny years..Have even written to show before to suggest getting Alice/band to play live..so Im happy...would like a sneering classic like NMMNG, Elected and a rocker from latest album (but no ballads please)....gr8 news.

Really enjoyed that. Just wished his vocals were a little bit louder. The band is sounding amazing as usual!

Yeah, pretty good. I thought the songs in the Friday episode are generally all different so a good chance we'll get a different three, and definitely a cover. Unless I'm wrong about different songs being done in the shows of course.recoop wrote:Well I liked that...will watch again on friday and see if there is a third song performed..been waiting for years for this on Jools and wasnt disappointed...gr8 guitar sound to my ears
