Funny this thread is getting a "revival" now, as the cruise was cancelled months ago...

So what are you saying? Explain why KISS can do this while Alice cannot given the fan bases are likely very similar socioeconomically.

Maybe it just comes down to KISS having a larger fan base which really can't be disputed at this point.

But paying 3 grand plus flights to see the current band on a boat when they tour all the time isn't going to sell because it's overpriced and won't appeal to the average fan and their disposable income or credit limit.
You're confusing your arguments. Calling it a 'rich people's event' is quite different than saying it's simply not worth the money.

It was simply an example of different options. Alice hates disco too.

Personally speaking, I think it would have been incredible to see all of you fine folks put to sea on a boat stocked with booze. Ship of Fear indeed.

I'm not confusing the arguments, if something expensive isn't worth the money but you still buy it you must be financially well off and stoopid to be able to do that. There is no accounting for taste Kiss are popular but have never created anything artistically in the same league as Alice Cooper's finest works. Their show is more a box of party tricks as opposed to the well thought out theatricality of Alice Cooper.

I know that will annoy Kiss fans and personally I don't care.
Lead guitar on Social Debris. Album on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify, title track featured on TV

You're making no sense. Lots of people piss their money away on stupid stuff.

I'm sure they're seething with anger.
