Yeah! It does look and sound cool. But to book that thing one year in advance. A lot can happen in one year. So it would been cooler had they announced something like that next August.

I think its good they announced it now, gives people a year to save up. Not everyone has a extra 3 grand laying around.. ;)

Sounds like it would be a blast. I would love to do this, but it's hard to pull off during Halloween when you have children.

This does sound like it would be extremely cool. I am not working right now. Who knows if I will be working a year from now. It would be hard to justify the expense though, with nearly every country collapsing financially.

Well, money wouldn't really be that much of an issue as the cheapest cabins are not really that expensive. Also flights to Florida are not that expensive. But committing to something that happens in one year is what I don't want to do. Also it says, no refund. So if Alice drops out, you're still stuck with a cruise and a bunch of people you probably don't want to see that much or wouldn't pay money to see. Even though having Dee Snider on it would play right up my alley. For me that would be 2 for the price of 1. Also if you could score the M&G as well. But I guess the first 40 people already have signed up.

Then add hotels start and finish, plus the fuel tax and Port taxes and the rates on board are per person. There are paymment plans available but no mention of interest rates. Credit card payment has got it's appeal but sadly too many add ons to consider before commiting to such an adventure...Blooming shame though, will envy those that are going. Lets hope the lottery numbers come up this weekend.

Unless you're rolling around in membership-fee dues.

Still giving lots of consideration to this trip, but Hurricane Sandy, is a good reason to give this little adventure a second thought. Can't think of anything more upsetting than to build your hopes up for the next year with plans made and tickets in hand, only to have them dashed by Mother Nature...

Not too sure if this has been posted, though I don't know if too many people will be disappointed!

Not much of a surprise considering the other talent that was making the trip. Those names may be OK for a brief hello at a convention but they were hardly likely to have a large number of people shelling out serious cash.

I couldn't go to the SOF anyway, so hopefully we'll get another Halloween tour.
