You see plenty of Alice fans flying across the continent eh? but they are not your average fan and it's your average fan that generates the most revenue for a band as the die hard fans are a minority.

So what are you saying? Explain why KISS can do this while Alice cannot given the fan bases are likely very similar socioeconomically.

Maybe it just comes down to KISS having a larger fan base which really can't be disputed at this point.

Yeah I've flown to the USA from England to see Alice and it wasn't cheap about £1000 for a plane ticket and 3 nights in a hotel to see Alice with the survivors of the original band play half an hour and it was worth it and they probably won't play together again.

But paying 3 grand plus flights to see the current band on a boat when they tour all the time isn't going to sell because it's overpriced and won't appeal to the average fan and their disposable income or credit limit.

You're confusing your arguments. Calling it a 'rich people's event' is quite different than saying it's simply not worth the money.

Alice hates unplugged by the way he likes it "very plugged".

I'm not confusing the arguments, if something expensive isn't worth the money but you still buy it you must be financially well off and stoopid to be able to do that. There is no accounting for taste Kiss are popular but have never created anything artistically in the same league as Alice Cooper's finest works. Their show is more a box of party tricks as opposed to the well thought out theatricality of Alice Cooper.
