His Creepiest Song
What would you say Alice's creepiest song is? Gail and Former Lee Warmer are both very creepy, but for me it's gotta be This House Is Haunted. That song has a lot of atmosphere and the bizarre sound effects are really freaky. Thoughts?

No doubt about it
Steven - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tzQPOANqoA - the riff and keyboards are chilling
It pre-dates the films of Dario Argento and John Carpenter by a few years!

There are a lot of them but I was just listening to Blue Turk a few days ago and that's pretty creepy.
Re: His Creepiest Song
I'm going to go with Former Lee Warmer, great production and wonderful atmosphere. But Dada and Awakening must be right up there.

Re: His Creepiest Song
All those you lot mention are pretty creepy I think, but I would have to go back to Killer and B$B (when I was a kid and they really freaked me out) with Dead Babies, the end of Killer, Mary Ann and I love the dead.

Lots of great choices here. I was also listening to Second Coming today and the verses are quite eerie.

Have to agree with Diane D with "The Awakening"-great song, but eerie as can be, especially with the crashing noise towards the end.
Others include "Gail" (absolutely flesh crawling, especially the very end of the song), "Dead Babies" with the doomy bass opening, "Pick Up the Bones", "Lullabye" and "When Hell comes Home"

''The Awakening'' was a great song to end the album ''Welcome to my Nightmare''.tuneylune wrote:Have to agree with Diane D with "The Awakening"-great song, but eerie as can be, especially with the crashing noise towards the end.

See me in the mirror!!! That's REALLY creepy!!
Re: His Creepiest Song
Was going to say ILTD but reconsidered and would go for Killer(end of as mentioned by Gunner)-in early 70s the atmosphere was added to by listening to Killer in the dark (same went for Black Juju and some Pink Floyd tracks-turning lights out was low tech but scary)
You are an individual, just like everybody else.
