It, along with a dozen other West Coast dates, was posted on the Tour Terror page, and they were all announced on the official Alice Twitter and Facebook accounts. Shortly after I posted about the L.A. date here, they were all removed from the Tour Terror page. I assume the announcement was premature....
(I wasn't dreaming it---it was listed as being at the Orpheum Theatre.)

Hate the title of this thread which I hope reflects a small % of Alice fans. Covering Gaga with such a great rocking version of BTW is one of the best things he's ever done. It's a big hit with a lot of rock and pop culture fans.

Actually, you sort of did in the title.GailsFriend wrote:Actually, without offering my opinion
OT:
I still haven't seen/heard it, but I am very excited! I like Lady GaGa and the thought of Alice covering one of her songs makes me smile.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but does he still cover Born This Way? Or was it just to shock the people at Bonnaroo? 'Cause if it's part of the setlist, I want to keep it as a surprise for me, so I can see it (hopefully) next month in real...

He only played it at Bonaroo and the warm up show in Biloxi. It seems to have been dropped now.

Actually, my role here is to "stir the pot occasionally"....I like to bring up topics to discuss....to help get away from the myriad of conversations that center around "favorite AC song off (enter album here)", "Best AC album of the (enter decade here)", and setlist designs....which are all well and good....but, a little diversity helps. You could call me "The Devil's Advocate" and I wouldn't be insulted....actually, any insult would just be more attention, which I enjoy. Ultimately, my motives are good and friendly with a dash of wicked.....just a dash.

Not a fan of Gaga. She's better than most of the music in the charts imo but not my thing.
However, I loved what Alice did with it. I wish he kept it in the setlist. Funny but brilliant.
