This is a press release from Glen published on his Facebook page in 1974.

"At this time, I would love nothing more than to be able to proceed with the Alice Cooper album and tour. However, I am unable to continue unless a 'signable' contract is drawn up; a contract that reflects some dignity and respect toward me as an original member of the band."

Now we know why the band broke up.

Devon, I am puzzled as to what you mean by his facebook page?
Also Glen's opinion regarding the contract again is just one perception. To me the statement quoted seems to make a contract agreeable to him a focus for a range of resentments and tensions that are only hinted at.
"Now we know why the band broke up". I beg to differ Devon.

I think he's joking somehow, since Facebook didn't exist in 1974 ;)

I think Glen just became tired of the non stop touring.
I often wonder if the BDB tour wasn't so big would they have gone longer. having a bit more rest. i can't imagine going two years non stop. The barley any sleep

Devon's post was a joke referencing Bill Ward's post on Why he isn't performing with Black Sabbath this year.
