Favorite Alice movies

For me, WAYNE'S WORLD is the best. Very funny and Alice absolutely steals the scenes he is in.
MONSTER DOG is way cheesy, but enjoyable.
ROADIE has it's moments, but enjoy Alice in it.
He is pretty scary in PRINCE OF DARKNESS and it's neat hearing the song play in the film.
The group play a pretty raucous song in DIARY OF A MAD HOUSEWIFE (it sounds a lot like "Lay Down and Die, Goodbye").
While not technically a movie, enjoyed watching Alice "second" for Jake "The Snake" Roberts and put "Damian" to good use in WRESTLEMANIA 3.

Wayne's World is my all-time favorite movie, so that's obviously my first choice. I also love Suck, Roadie, and Sgt. Pepper. Haven't gotten to see Dark Shadows yet :( Hopefully this weekend though.

Roadie is My favorite thus far. Followed by Wayne's World and Suck.
Also liked Good To See You Again Alice Cooper the Movie bits are just so goofy and really have a hard "plot" to follow

I would love to see Alice do a remake of Monster Dog an all english cast so we don't have to dub.

I prefer Alice Cooper movies were he and the guys work with the great comedic actor - Fred Smoot.

It's my understanding that the cast of Monster Dog all spoke English in the first place. Which makes the dubbing even weirder.

Really how odd, Still would be interesting to do it with modern CGI and a tweaking of the "plot"

Isn't it odd that Monster Dog was/is overdubbed? :bam: I mean, are we to believe that in the film they spoke different languages!?!

For non-Alice Concert films, I think Roadie is my Fave. #2 Waynes World, #3 Suck.

I always liked Alice's Monster Dog voice over comment (paraphrased) "I think they got the guy who did Dudley Do-Right."

I think what may have happened what that all the other actors spoke English but with heavy accents (or spoke it phonetically) so those voices were replaced (I think they did something similar in the Sam Peckinpah films), although that doesn't explain why Alice's voice was replaced as well.

I've heard somewhere, don't know if it's true or not, that when they did the spanish dub for the movie they accidentally deleted the original recordings and therefor had to replace all dialog.

A lot of English-language films undergo ADR. It could have been if there was a lot of external noise when the movie was being shot

Yes, but that's usually for selected scenes. It's not usual for entire movies to be completely recast, voice-wise....
