He may not have looked at his worst but from listening to him I don't think he was at his best mentally..great he survived

He was speaking a lot faster and with a higher pitch than he does now. Just an observation.

Yep dadascot very intense...i think the line between performer and person was perhaps indistinguishable...the very thing he does brilliantly now imo..separating the two is the trick i think

He did seem very close to the Nadir at that point in his life which is why, in my opinion, it is one of the most fascinating aspects of his career.
