good call JJ that was my second choice, when the late great Jimmy McCulloch (15 when he played on Something In The Air by Thunderclap Newman) responds to Macca saying "take me down Jimmy" with that solo and the one at the end, I am on cloud 9!
Lead guitar on Social Debris. Album on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify, title track featured on TV

Maybe he could do ''Maybe I'm amazed'', since he said once that he like that song, but he's the one who decide what he will sing.

A bit off-topic , but here goes.........An anecdote regarding the wonderful Jimmy McCulloch has gone down in Glasgow Apollo folklore ..........
Before the Wings Sept ’75 at the Glasgow Apollo , Jimmy McCulloch decided to show some of the band members his roots , by taking them to a local music bar that he had played in many times as a young jobbing musician - “THE MAGGIE “ on Sauchiehall Street - .........On the way , Jimmy was regailing the band with tales of his gigs there , and there was a general feeling of “local boy done good “ .........
As the WINGS band members made their way into the MAGGIE , the bouncer/doorman put his arm across Jimmy and said;
“Have YOU got ID , son ?”

“What ?”

“If you’ve not got ID , you’re no’ gettin’ in ! “

“You’re kiddin’ !”

“You’re underage son , I’m sorry but you can't come in !”

“But i’m here with Paul McCartney ...I'm in WINGS .........I USED TO BLOODY PLAY HERE “

“I’m tryin’ to be nice to you son , but now you’re getting on my nerves .............RIGHT , the lot of you ..........OUT !”

>but he's the one who decide what he will sing.

That isn't how it works. Usually on a project like this, whoever is in overall control of the project will make that decision.

I know that there is a big machine around that project, and I guess that they have the control overall. When you sing, you have a certain range of voice, and he must pick a song that falls in that range, so, that's why I was thinking Live and let die at first. Since it was done by Guns and Roses before, it was proven that this song can rock, you can't go wrong with that.

That isn't always going to be the case, though. You can change the key.

>Since it was done by Guns and Roses before,

That is exactly why that song is not a good choice.

I think a Cooperized version of "Jet" would sound great.
