Alice Cooper Classicks LP

Looks like this is on LP. However it seems to long for an LP at a runtime of 1:01:38 on CD. Was the LP cut or compressed in anyway as I thought there was a limit of 25mins/side. As if i see this I may pick it up for collectors sake.

I am aware of the tracks. As i have the CD just trying to figure out how it fits onto a single LP. Being an LP can hold around 50mins. over that and they have to edit tracks or compress the spaces between the groves. this often leads to sound issues. maybe why its so hard to find. Discogs lists all the tracks as being on the LP.

You can get 30 mins a side on vinyl maybe a little more. I have had LP's that are up to around that. I remember as they didn`t fit onto a C-60 tape haha. It's just not very advisable to try and do it for quality reasons.
Afraid I can`t answer your question any further though as I don`t have the LP.

Je will just keep an eye out for further information. until then just missing Beast Of Alice Cooper and the Alice Cooper show on vinyl.

Looking at the track listing maybe just side b suffers as its mostly the live side.

Deepest Purple - The Very Best of Deep Purple and Def Leppard's Hysteria were both released on LP and both albums are more than 62 mins in length.

so Lost in America is on side 2
al the tracks are the same lp/cd but on lp Stolen Prayer time 6.35 and cd 5.35 but this is a misprint on lp

Found a copy and got at the Post today. Glad to have found such a rare LP. Seems the Epic stuff is the hardest to find on LP. Maybe they will reissue the albums on LP someday. As 180g 45 speed multi-disc sets. They seem to love the compilations on CD
