Fantasy covers

So, what would you like Alice to cover? And who would you like to cover Alice? It does not have to be realistic in the slightest bit...

I think he deserves "Sweet Dreams" , even though it has been covered enough..

James, I never cared much for Manson, but that might actually work.

Being quite a fan of old school country, I'd like to hear Alice make an EP with some of the really dark songs... stuff like Knoxville Girl and Psycho...

Also, Sinatra should have put You and Me on a recording, it seems like we will never get to hear it...

Also Alice is one of the few artists i can think of who has never done a covers album. Could be interesting.

Yes, even though it often indicates that the well has run dry, it would be fun to hear. He *did* make Alice Does Alice, which I've not heard come to think of it - will be interesting to check out, especially with the very hard notes on Only Women...

Lady Gaga and Alice Cooper should do a version of Millie and Billie. FANTASTIC!

and....Alice Cooper should do a cover of "Serial Killer" by Motorhead....although it's not a song, really. More like a monologue...But, it's perfect.

David Byrne wrote Psycho Killer as a thought experiment of "Alice Cooper doing a country song"... would be interesting to hear Coop sing it - he'd do better with the French bit than Byrne did, for sure!

(This post is not dissing David Byrne. Thank you.)

I Never Cry has been covered, but never by someone good AFAIK... would be nice to hear a man/woman with a great singing voice do a cover of it...

I think Alice Cooper should cover Eric Church's "Creepin'"....

that way, he could sing Creepin' and Crawlin' in the same set. :rotfl:
