It didn't make the top 100 UK album chart, but is in number 7 in the rock and metal album chart.
Not bad i suppose seeing as everyone i know got the fanpack, which isn't counting towards the position.

I hope another single is released, so then maybe a bit of airplay will happen

never mind i reckon there is more chance of a good chart position in US(opposite of how it has been in recent past)..looks like Doris Day will be a bigger chart hit at least in uk..lol...I like the album even if it only sells well in outer mongolia(no writing to correct me that there is not such a place etc etc)..as has been said by others chart positions not as important as it used to be..theres always next week..those Doris fans might buy Alice next..who knows

I would say the chart position is pretty redundant on this release given that the fanpacks don't count towards proper sales. Be interesting to get some sales figures from Future Publishing though.

I'm still hoping "What Baby Wants" is released as a single and a vido is made for it with Ke$ha. Like I said in another post, this song could and should really a hit on both rock and pop stations. That would help the chart position too

Or neither! I like the song but I'm not sure it would be a hit.

I think, if released on a pop station it might do well. Then again, there are various styles to branch out to on radio. But that's just my opinion.

#16?? Well I know things are different now where not as many copies are sold but #16 is very good in my opinion...who knows...it could get up further?

Still, with all the good press, the amount of talent on here and the year Alice has had, contributes to this being a big hit in the overall grand scheme of things...

As far as charts concerned, looks encouraging for US..as for UK,it may be that many UK fans who would have bought the album in a way which counted for UK charts bought the fanpack(which apparently doesnt count for charts)..bought if most fanpacks sold then thats ok...maybe there is still time for others in UK to hear album and buy it..as has been said has been a big year for Alice whatever happens re charts

Why dont fanpack sales count? Seems slightly unfair considering a significant amount of initial sales probably came that way.

Because it's technically a Magazine with a CD as one if its bonus items, rather than the other way around, so its sales are counted toward the Magazine.
