>I don`t think there was any doubt the fanpack would hurt the chart position in the UK, as I don`t believe any of those sales were elegable for the charts.
Also, the album isn't actually supposed to be released in Britain until October (which was the whole point of the fanpack, for one thing).

Re: chart position
I saw the UK chart position discussed on Alice's Facebook page, then i noticed it was posted on the Wikkipedia Alice Cooper page, under discography.I don't know if this corroborates the chart position or not,but all the other chart info seemed to be correct.I was lead to believe that the UK edition was to be released to coincide with the UK night of Fear tour.Sorry if I mislead.

Re: chart position
my local record store owner tells me that in his top 20 best new release sales he had W2MN at #1 and the old school box set at #16 for week ending 9/18! (it's a small but very busy mom and pop type place)

Re: chart position
I know it's unlikely, but has anyone seen any charting for the single? Digital downloads are eligable for the charts, not that I'm expecting anything to turn up.

Re: chart position
Off the top 200 already ? It really took a nose dive in a hurry. A great first week and then limbo. I still have not heard one song off it on regular radio or satellilte. All the hype was before the release. Does anybody think this will have a affect on a full blown tour of W2MN for next year ? Or is there more of a likelyhood of his usual greatest hits tour with one or two songs from the new release.

Re: chart position
Still can't understand why tour wasn't launched to coincide with the release of the cd or why the release of the cd wasn't delayed until this tour concluded. All momentum is lost. Saw the video for "Face off" and it is really cool.
Re: chart position
I don't think its the tour so much as getting the information about the album out to the general public. there really wasn't anything. unlike other bands that may have local radio plugs and advertizing on TV and stores. i would think most of the sales are your regular coop fans with the adding of the orginal band on a few tracks may have brought the first week numbers up more so then other albums.

That's how things used to be done but now almost everything is happening online (and again, that's all been discussed here before and a lot as well).
