Unfortunately, this not 180 gram vinyl. It's a standard disc. What a ripoff! Damn you Europeans for showing Alice the love and appreciation he deserves.

Around 135g on the scale. so slightly more then some but not quite the 180g it should be.

Going to get me a better phono stage first then get the EU version.

Holy crap, that was scary :bam:

Intersting looking at it in digtal form as you can see the beeps the the flatline and finally Steven at the end. I put this as track 17 after Under The Bed and A Bad Situation. 18 being We Gotta Get Outta This Place.
With all the dead wax would have loved Under the bed on side 2B along with a Bad Situation. Would have made it the perfect Vinyl. Maybe as a single.

I'm a bit disappointed with Flatline, not really a track but not a problem as the product is great.

The label on the outside says a digital download of the album whereas the slip inside says a digital copy of the 2 disc LP. A bit misleading but not a problem for me as I can rip straight to MP3. Good value when you consider none of the CDs come with this feature.

The poster and voucher were stuck inside the spine meaning both were damaged on arrival.

That's a polite request not an order

I don't know if this violates terms or anything like that, but I have W2MN on CD, but I can't really consider buying the vinyl version as well seeing as I'm a student on a budget. Could someone email me Flatline?

Actually, having just re-read the Rules & Guidelines, I am well within my right to ask what I did.

"Nor will you advertise the sale of bootleg or pirate recordings on SickthingsUK. You can discuss the existance of said materials or ask about the availability ("does anyone have..?")"

Not trying to flame, but maybe just a nudge that the Guidelines should be updated to include that so that it may be clear to new members.

Again, not flaming. Just pointing out that it was not made clear that what I had done was against any of the terms that I agreed to.

It falls under the Rule of Pirate recordings. If some one were to email you it. It would be a Pirate recording at that point.

I don't understand how it could be any clearer..

"ANYONE posting ANYTHING suggesting where to download the new album, offering to supply the new album privately, or anything else like that will have their thread deleted and possibly even their membership deleted.
It is ILLEGAL.
You have been warned."

You asked if someone could send you copy write material. ( Flatline) That is illegal. We do not do that here. Sorry

I understand that. But I was not suggesting where to download the album or offering to supply the album. "Anything like that" is pretty vague, if you ask me.

In any case, I apologize for asking in the first place. I didn't realize it would become such an issue.

no worries.. the point is, if its copy write material we would appreciate it if the members of the site didn't use our site to obtain it illegally.

I emailed back to black vinyl about the fact that flatline was not available to download even though the voucher you get with the vinyl says it gives you access to 'ALL tracks on this double lp as mp3 downloads' they said they are now looking into this and will get back to me.
