Future Publishings have just redeemed themselves.
Purchased 3 magazines originally, two of which had things missing, one never showed up.

I sent an email regarding the missing one originally, then upon realising items were missing I sent a second email venting my anger.

Received an email four days ago regarding the missing one with a reply that we will send out another as expected. Then to my amazement I received another e-mail regarding the missing items from the other two packs saying they would issue another 3. So in effect I am getting another four fan packs.

I still have not received the promised replacement copy, for my missing copy. I am not happy, I have just emailed them again, I hope they respond a lot quicker than they did the first time.

I finally received one copy of my Fan Pack today.

Unfortunately, I had ordered 4 copies!!!

Have sent an email asking for my concern to be addressed; won't be holding my breath, as a previous email sent regarding the delay in receiving my order was not responded to.

Also, can someone please clarify if Alice make-up was meant to be included? I placed my order months ago when it was stated make-up would be part of the pack.

A very poor performance from Future Publishing or whoever is responsible.

Just opened the pack (wasn't going to until my other 3 copies turned up); make-up found inside!

So there are 2 different versions of the fan pack, right?

One with the cover mentioning make-up, and one where it doesn't? My copy doesn't mention the face paint on the cover, but as I mentioned, it was still included.

the second one is the prerelease special and the first is the version that hit the shops etc. not sure if one had more goodies than the other, or if they just messed up and missed the make-up out of some.

I got mine at the beginning of last week. Luckily I seam to have gotten everything: 2 posters (my name included), make-up and metal pin.

My guess is that Future Publishing maybe didn't expect so many pre-orders and therefore was unable to cope with it proberly? I'm not making any excuses here, I too send e-mails asking about my order and only got an answere when I finally wrote a more annoyed one.

All in all - I absolutely love this pack. And frankly I find it quite cheap considering the great mag and the extra goddies you get. And also in comparison to other 'special editions' out there (by other artists) ...
In my mind, oh, a million voices tell me no

No. They are all the same (or should be).

The reason I asked about there being different versions of the Fan Pack, was that there have been different covers shown, as can be seen at:

http://www.google.com.au/search?q=alice ... 44&bih=723

Perhaps some are just draft versions, or promotional posters?

There were some graphics done before the design was finalized which were used online on the ordering pages.

Also, one of those pics is the cover of the magazine within the fan pack, not the cover of the fan pack.

Skimmed the poster looking for my name, starting at the bottom right. Finally found it in the very first column, 22 down or so and to the left of the "A". :D

The album is a modern classic :)

Tis indeed a true modern classic. It has quickly become one of my favourite albums.

After numerous searches, I cannot find my name on the poster. ::((:

It should be there, as I emailed it immediately when the offer was put out there.

However...someone with the same surname as me, and someone else with the same first name as me have been listed side by side...so technically my name is there, just that my surname has been listed first.

Funny reading all these posts. Sept 30th, in the US, still haven't gotten mine ordered Aug14th. Missed the deadline to get my name on the poster. I already posted in another topic about how people were getting different things in their fanpacks, and somehow I think it is just a matter of timing and how Future Publishing tried to get them out. Whatever, I'll get what I get and be happy.

I think my name isn't there either. And I ordered when there was nothing like that planned. Received the same e-mail you did, answerd it, but my name isn't there.
Not sure if there's any point in contacting the company now :/
Yet it is frustrating, people who ordered after I did got their name on the poster. Very upsetting. :nono:
These good little shocks must be working I’m so happy now
