Hi all, Not sure if this is new news, but I have just been for the daily shop, (Fri,9th sept) and the Classic rock fan pack was staring at me from the shelves of my local Store ( Asda supermarket).
I am just off back down again to grab one, as I didn't have enough money to pick it up at the time.

I never did understand what that was about. Is it a marketing ploy whereby they lead you into thinking it will sell out quickly and you need to reserve it?

Also, when is the 'official' release date? Not the 'Fan Pack' lark, but when it is supposed to be released? I'll bet you ANYTHING that we can buy the album online for less than the fan pack before that so-called release date, and I wouldn't be surprised if that is next week.

My approach is, and has always been, to relax, not get excited, keep my eye out for it and buy it when I see it at a price that I feel is not exploitative.

You got your name on the poster if you ordered it early enough.
Plus, the more pre-orders the more likely to be printed, meaning bigger sales, got to be good for Alice.

I'm still glad I pre-ordered it because while we get Classic Rock here, I would not trust that I'd be able to get the Fan Pack in the shops. I just hope it arrives soon like it has for some people, since I'll be moving on Thursday.

I got my Fan pack through the post today, and am loving every part of it. Although, I didn't realise that the pin badge shown on the cover was BIGGER than actual size! lol

I ordered from Future Publishing. I believe they were sent out yesterday, so if you haven't had yours today, you'll probably get it tomorrow.

I think its good for us in the US as, As far as i know, no places get these sort of things. I hope this means a speed up in shipping over here. payed for it early enough

I've been waiting to hear everyones opinion on that track, i happen to think it's a belter and should have been on the album proper.

Got mine today, just finished listening to it. after the very disappointing ACAS, this is back to what i love. no spoilers, i'll just say i thought the album's a builder, the first couple tracks i was "hmmm.." but OMG, "Last Man on Earth" is effing outstanding, straight up to #2 of my fave ever Coop songs. Worth the price of admission alone. As above, Under The Bed is cracking. love the humour in the songs, coulda done w/out Poison, to behonest - not my fave by any stretch and it seems that particular song's been given about 37 outings already. still, it's at the end so i just stop the CD early!

man, i'm DYING for Hallowe'en now!!

Anyone from Canada get their fan pack yet? I'm jealous of everyone who has got it already. I hope I at least get it by Tuesday.

my fan pack turned up by post..first lesson entertaining..really like when hell comes home..controversial stuff along lines of dead babies..good to see material going to areas others wouldnt venture to..under the bed good..as far as Im concerned its on the album..we have the technology to shuffle it all about (after all Ive been doing that with Welcome and Goes to Hell for years-missing out the odd track I consider crapola to make one great album with Its hot tonight off Lace)...considering reviews I am as happy as Larry and Larry is on prozac..
