If anyone has ever read any of my rants...you may have heard me say how I feel it would be nice to see Alice just throw away all the classic hits in favor of more obscure songs...
I am not begging for the original band to get back together (it could have/should have happened by now)...

But it was a fantastic show. Band was tight...crowd was respectful...and it was recorded....by 2 or 3 cameras.

This site is about Alice Cooper, the band AND the solo artist. That is why I always try to mention anything the original guys do (if I know about it), as I do with other significant musicians who have worked with solo Alice (like Roxie, Keri, Damon) and will continue to do so.

Listening to the show right now.

Wow I would give a lot to see Alice with Robbie Krieger one day. They sound great together and I keep getting freaked out by how Alice can sound just like Jim Morrison.

And the more I hear him, the more I find that Glen Sobel is my favourite drummer to play with Alice since Neal Smith.

I loved Eric's showmanship, and Jimmy's "force tranquille" style. But Glen sounds almost as crazy and inventive as Neal did.

Four week to go and I will see this new line-up for the first time. Can't wait!

I agree with you, Dragonlady.... Glen has shown to be one of the best drummers in Alice's band members history, it was a surprise since at first I wasnt liking the idea of Eric leaving... but in the end I definately like his way more than Eric's. I like Jimmy's too (in the Theatre of Death DVD sounds so good!! I was glad to see him on that record).... And Neal's.... well..... he is the best to me....

Hey, don't go GNDM, I enjoy reading your posts, and it's nice to have someone that really represents the original band. :(
