SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Hi,

here's a small review from the new album.

Please note that it is MY opinion.

1.I am made of you
Well written, very good track. Steve Hunter in the best shape.

2. Caffeine
Humorous track. Very catchy

3. The nightmare returns
Nice reminder of the old nightmare.

4. A runaway train.
Up tempo rocker. Speedy track and I like it very much. The song keeps hitting on you.

5. Last men on earth.
Definitrly NOT my music taste. Track a la Some Folks (I didn't like that either).
However well performed and Alice has a great voice.

6. The congregation.
A great classic. Indeed a lot of Oasis influence but that's for me ok as I like Oasis a lot.
Intermission in the song like in the TUBES -smoke la vie - song.
Excellent song and a favorite for me.

7. I'll bite your face.
I didn't liked the song as a live track but it keeps growing. Hearing it now with a good production this is a great song.

8. Disco bloodbath boogie fever.
A very .... special one this one.
It first I thought: disco / rap ????
But I must admitt this is a very modern song and it gets a grip on you. Very humorous a la Alice his best work.
Some influences of Lady Gaga and it thinks it's a CLASSIC.
I do think that not every fan will appreciate this one.

9. Ghouls gone wild
The guitar starts with a little bit of U2.
Tempo rocker and for me a strong and good song.

10. Something to remember me by
Disappointing song. Too soft and not strong enough. Not his greatest ballad.

11. When hell comes home.
Dark song and more heavy. I like it very much.

12. What baby wants.
Great song/duet. Keisha rocks on this one !!!

13. I gotta get outta here.
Great song with a lot of humor.

14. The underture
Orchestal piece. Great build up musicpiece with all the influences from Welcome one.

15. We gotta get out of this place (cover + bonustrack)
I think this is ok. It's not good enough for the album but as a cover it will do. I heard better covers from Alice.

Conclusion :

I think this is Coopers best work in years.
A very solid produced record with a lot of commercial potential.
Mix this with the best of Welcome 1 and some hits this could produre a Killer liveshow.

Now I have to wait for the live tracks and the other bonustracks.

Thx...Nice review!,succinct and to the point. From what i have read, seems the general consensus is that "The Congregation" is the best track off of W2MN.Aside from that, what do you feel are the other top tracks from the album?

The stand out tracks for me. I am made of you, caffeine, runaway train, last man on earth, the congregation, disco bloodbath boogie fever(this is really going to divide opinion this one. Love how it changes half way through from a disco tune to an all out rocker with an amazing solo by John 5 I think), what baby wants( again is going to divide opinion, would make a great single), I gotta get out of here and the underture. I cannot overstate how much I like this album. One of Alics best. Can't wait to hear the other bonus tracks.
