Re: Damon's Leaving
but still sounding great with Thin Lizzy stalwarts Scott Gorham & Brian Downey, they totally kicked ass in Dublin with Alice & Def Leppard, what a gig that was!
Lead guitar on Social Debris. Album on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify, title track featured on TV

Re: Damon's Leaving
All the best to Damon, but it really is more a tribute band.
Thin Lizzy without Phil Lynott is like Alice Cooper without Alice Cooper.

Yes, I agree with RemarkablyInsincere. Strange careermove?RemarkablyInsincere wrote:All the best to Damon, but it really is more a tribute band.

Re: Damon's Leaving
I think it's just the timing of the offer.
1) Damon wants to concentrate on his OWN career and the reactivated Brother Cane. so I think he was leaving Alice anyway.
2) Damon is a HUGE Lizzy fan, so the chance to play those songs with Downey and Gorham would be very attactive. It's just for 7 weeks (at present) so why not take the chance while it's being offered?

Off course he can. He's not an idiot and knows what's good for him. I wish him all the best.Si wrote:I think it's just the timing of the offer.

I wish him well.
But I recognize to get excited about the idea of a girl playing guitar in the band. Now that's new.
I doubt she would get the lead parts with the beast of S Hunter... also think Tommy needs a little more attention, maybe.

She is very likely to get lead parts. That`s what she's famous for!!! They will probably split them the same way Steve and Damon did.juancoop wrote: I doubt she would get the lead parts with the beast of S Hunter... also think Tommy needs a little more attention, maybe.

Maybe that new video will help?Si wrote:[

I don't know if people not on Facebook can see them, but they are hilarious!
Silly little videos showing the band's antics backstage.
Or he could dress in pink and wear feathers? That might get him more attention, not sure about respect though
