Re: Alice not ruling out Nightmare 3
I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd add my thoughts.
While a third Nightmare album could be cool, I really hope Alice goes back to his Night Shift idea. That album sounded like it could be really good. I think Alice said that each song would be played by a different fictional band. That could mean a great diversity of sound on the album. I've always thought Alice is one of the few rock singers that can easily perform other genres without sounding weird.
I would also like to see a Halloween album. No more sequals for a few more years.

At this point, I just want to know what was that Night Shift album, EXACTLY... I hope that it was not only a joke, and the idea that it has served to someone would be preferable then the idea that it was just a joke. At least, WTMN 2 would have not been issued in vain.

Re: Alice not ruling out Nightmare 3
Didn't we hear recenlty that there was some movement on the "Seven Deadly Sins" project?
Ezrin might be more excited about that than he was about "The Night Shift" idea. Plus, I every time I hear "Night Shift" I think about the Michael Keaton movie.
Also, don't forget about the cover songs album that was reported. Perhaps someone can ask him about it on the upcoming dates.

There are enough ex band members, (not only the original band) and session players to make up different bands and styles of playing to make this happen especially if Bob Ezrin was to tie it altogether. That would be an album for all fans of all ages. Wow, what an idea!

Re: Alice not ruling out Nightmare 3
Yeah I'm really interested in the nightmare idea. The 7 deadly sins idea has potential too. Maybe we'll get to see them both one day.
A lot of fans seem uninterested in the idea of him releasing a covers album, but I would be interested in what sort of songs he would cover. I expect he would do some Rolling Stones or Beatles covers. Maybe he'll also record Born this way lol.

Welocme to my nightmare 3 would be cool! I don't mind covers...
And a seven deadly sins would be cool also.
I can see that, a full production.

I don't call them sins, I just call it being human.Diane D. wrote:Welocme to my nightmare 3 would be cool! I don't mind covers...
