They are playing an old NWAC show from August 19th another year. Either that or they have done some crafting editing to get Alice to say todays date on another show recording. Sucks either way.

The full US show is five hours and Planet Rock only airs four hours of it. Unless they re-edit it as the US has more adverts. I don`t know. Not listen to it on TR before.
Surely Alice doesn`t record a special version just for PR? That would be an awful lot of extra recording to do each week while travelling around etc.
Honestly don`t know.
They aren`t playing anything from the US playlist for tonights show which is why I assumed it was an old show repeated..
Then again Paranoid just came on which IS in the US show tonight, but then he plays the same songs over and over anyway...

Hell, I don`t know haha

As has been posted a bit earlier tonight: no new songs have been played (yet?).

Not even sure if it's the actual W2MN special we're listening to right now... So far Alice hasn't even mention the album...

As has been mentioned above, it isn`t.

Interestingly I just skimmed through yesterday's NWAC show on Total Rock. It IS the show from the 18th and he DOES say tonight will be the W2MN show, however most of the songs included in the show are NOT the ones played in the US last night.

I'm wondering if they only include songs in the TR version if Alice directly introduces them by name.

In which case, does the TR version in fact include ALL of Alice's intros and stuff (normally only 20-25 mins max out of the five hour show) even though it's only 4 hours.

Could be handy to know, at least to me haha
May have to do some comparing when I have some time.

Planet Rock:
"Due to differing release dates between the US and Europe of Welcome 2 My Nightmare, Planet Rock will be broadcasting an album release special on September 10th at 7pm. You will hear more of the album on that programme than you would if you were listening to the one going out tonight in the US. Alice sat down with DR and discussed each of the tracks. It will be worth the wait. But apologies if you were expecting it tonight."

Difference in release dates is.. three days. 13th Sept in USA, 16th Sept (Classic Rock) in UK.

Oh well, I'm still listening... I like the music Alice plays in his show. Keep my fingers crossed though.

Maybe we get to hear the new songs tomorrow?

The funny thing is 90% of the music isn`t chosen by Alice anyway. As proven by the fact Planet Rock and the US show have mostly different songs during the same show!!
As I mentioned above, it seems the only songs PR HAVE to play are the ones Alice actually mentions by name. Anything else is up to them to choose.
