[*]It says on the NWAC website that Alice will be playing songs from nightmare 2 on Friday. I an wondering is his show pre recorded and is the show that the US gets on a Friday the same show as we get on planet rock in the UK. I've got work very early on Saturday morning and I don't want to stay up late to listen if we don't get any new songs.

Usually, yes.

There is an "On Demand" feature on their site.

I think we will all have a tough decision to make. Do we or don't we listen!

I waited when ACAS came out, and it was hard. I think it is more greatfull to wait, otherwise when you get the album you have nothing new.
I'll listen to I'll bite your face off, though, as I already know the song.

I was thinking the same thing...but must confess, I don't have the discipline to wait.

There's an article just published that makes it makes it sound like Friday's show will start with "I'll Bite Your Face Off," and then he will also do "Runaway Train" and "I Gotta Get Outta Here" and talk about the album through the show.

Australian Nights with alice is a full 18 odd hours ahead . So i guess we will get the jump re alice's comments and listen to the album .

Expect a thought provoking and if i must say so myself a thoroughly interesting review . The review will contain points of interest , factoids and loads of witty banter .

I'm listening, as I have no willpower. I don't think it'll ruin anything for me, it'll just make me even more excited.

I'm assuming he won't be playing the full album anyway.

Well, Im doing my research to see what time would be the best for me in order of the time gap between the distances.
Im gonna listen every second of it, even with my girlfriend's killer look aiming me all night, ha ha
On the other side just wanted to say how ugly letters font in the logo of the Nights with Alice Cooper name are... it was a while since the last time I surfed the site... they need a redesign, even with wordart woul look better to me!

*Spoilers*

Alice opened the show with I'll Bite Your Face Off.
My first impressions: Very Stones-y. More polished than expected. It doesn't really kick you in the teeth like I expected it to (although that observation may have more to do with the fact that I'm listening via an online stream). The chorus is quite reminiscent of late eighties Alice. I like the little Nightmare-esque break in the middle. I hope there are better tracks to come...

Next up is Caffeine.

This one contains the typical sinister Alice vocals. I really enjoy the verses (especially the first one) and the build up to the chorus. The chorus is quite bizarre, it reminds me of Prettiest Cop on the Block from Special Forces. The whole song has a Zipper Catches Skin vibe to it, which is a really cool and unexpected throwback. I definitely prefer this one to I'll Bite Your Face Off.

Runaway Train: I missed the intro to this one. You would almost swear it was a lost Rolling Stones track. The melody has a lot in common with Alice's other Stones replica, Dance Yourself to Death from Flush the Fashion. Interesting. I'll have to hear the whole thing a few more times to make up my mind.

The show airs hours in advance in Australia. I'm talking about the show that you will hear this evening.
